We are very excited to have reached our seventh year.  It has been quite a journey and it is because of people like you that Hamilton PPD is so successful!

October 2009

This year's festival was the best one ever! Not only because we had a larger than ever number of attendees, but also because the process of setting up, running the event, and tearing down went so incredibly smoothly!

We have an incredible team of people who help run our festival and each of them did an amazing job getting their respective areas organized!

Unfortunately, media coverage was pretty non-existant this year, but we did have a city councilor come for a visit and take the time to speak with me and have some of his questions answered.

Our attendance guru estimated our attendance at 1800 people. We definitely benefitted from having the Provincial Tree Climbing Championships right next door!

Stats from PPD 2009

#'s from 2009

203 lbs of food donated to Food Share

59 lbs of donated clothing (also given to Foodshare)

PLUS $1000 donated to Foodshare

Approx 1800 in attendance

26 workshops

4 rituals

5 musical performers

5 traditions/paths represented at our info table

56 vendors

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone involved in making HPPD 2009 such an awesome celebration!
